Attending to incoming voice and email calls by listening attentively to the customer, determining customer needs and logging calls on Remedy accurately. Efficient and effective logging and allocation of incoming calls within the agreed time frame and assisting Engineers / involved parties in ensuring all calls are attended to and closed. Updating of user information on the Remedy System to ensure an up to date database. Relating parent and child calls. Ensure that all calls are logged within Remedy as per the required operational processes. To adhere to correct procedures as per Service Desk Operational Manual and escalate as and when required. Follow-up with customer’s and ensure that the customer surveys are being completed in conjunction with customer. Basic troubleshooting of calls and updating the call with the relevant information in order to assist the SDE’s with resolution thereof. Ad hoc projects and tasks as required by superiors.
