Overall responsibility was to ensure that the company’s collections and disbursement targets as set by management from time to time are met and maximum business profit margins is attained in line with the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).  I also lead the team as Head of Sales and Marketing and facilitated new business growth, brand positioning and market visibility, which in turn increased productivity in terms of market penetration and growth. Key Achievements:  Led the strategic relationship with the various vendors on behalf of Mwananchi Credit that led to the increase in brand visibility from 30% - 80%.  Exceeded disbursement targets of 200 Million monthly by introduction of new leads generation, and follow up mechanism with an outstanding 90% conversion rate of new business prospects.  Re – engineered the sales and marketing process across all business models which resulted to reduced cost of business and improved customer experience.  Led a number of key products development initiatives to support the Group Sales and Marketing strategy rollout, most notably the launch of Auto Log book loans, Title deed loans and customized Trade finance.  Developed and executed a Sales and marketing expansion strategy that led to the growth of the Mwananchi Credit retail business and led to the achievement of market leadership in Kenya.

Overall responsibility was to Re-structure the Private Wealth Division of the business. I designed the Recruitment, Selection, Motivation, Supervision, Training and, Development strategies in line with the business expansion strategy.  As the Head the sales & distribution team network, I formulated the Marketing, Sales and Distribution channels for the company as well as manage the distribution process on company products and policies of high net worth individuals and customers in Cytonn Investments and Cytonn Real Estate. Key Achievements:  As Head of Private Wealth Management at Cytonn Investments, I Pioneered the expansion Strategy by formulating Marketing, Sales and Distribution channels for the company from scratch that entailed recruiting a sales team consisting of 100 Financial Advisors at different levels and 5 Unit Managers, selecting the best talent, motivating the teams, supervising both the Unit Managers and Financial Advisors, while at the same time, developed and managed sales teams in terms of sales performance management, tracking and reporting on company products and policies.  Led a major re - design to integrate the product development activities across the Cytonn management group and affiliates.  Established a high performing team of 105 members on a year transformation journey that made Cytonn an inspiring and vibrant organization that delivers a faster than market growth and superior shareholder returns on investments.
