The prime responsibility as a Unit Head involves the position of Profit Centre Head [SBU Head] dedicated to Managing and aligning the growth plan of the manufacturing unit in line with the Management direction of Continual growth, Smooth operations of the unit, Sustained profitability dictated by Corporate Policy & Directives, Paving way for and Leading Organization to Continual Improvement. Accountable for performing of entire factory operations viz. Production, EHS, Planning, Quality Control, Maintenance, Operations, Projects, Process Improvements, Technical Services, People Management, Material Management and likewise.

The prime responsibility as Operational Head consisted in Managing and aligning growth plan of the Organization by redefining Vision, Mission, Policy, Objectives, Targets enriched with Scientific Methodology to Ascertain, Establish and Monitor the Growth Journey. The challenge of paramount importance was Setting Budget Allocations to various operational wings of the organization processes viz. Plant management, administration, operations, costs, quality, manpower, Production and procurement, Product Development, Quality Management System, Presentation of Annual Budget, Winning Approval of Budget by Board of directors and Leading Action Plan to achieve the cherishing Targets of Growth and Profitability. The responsibility down the line does also include Supervising the Plant functionaries involving Planning, Line Balancing, Productivity, Quality, Reduction of Cost & Waste, Continual Improvement, R&D, Training, Administration as well as Developing Operational Excellence with embedded Competitiveness in all Processes beginning with Raw materials procurement to Winning Customer Delight for diversified finished products at its end to diverse manufacturing facilities dedicated to Production of Technical Textiles.

The prime responsibility as Overall Head of the factory dedicated to manufacturing of textile diversified products. It includes looking after Administration, Production, Quality, Statutory & Regulatory Compliance, Training, Product Innovation, R&D as well as Leading Organization towards accomplishment of TQM in all its operating functionalities and Human Capitals. The responsibility does also include Implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SA 8000, OHSAS, Lean Management, Six Sigma, AQL, Work Study Tools & Techniques and so on. The responsibility includes providing supervision to all operations from receipt of Buyer’s Sample to Dispatch of Products in Bulk

Designing and Developing a Statistically Analytical Model of Operating System based on experience data and Operations Approaches. The Worsted section is equipped with facilities for Processing of Acrylic Fibres to varied qualities of Upholstery and Furnishing Fabrics viz. Masai Shukas, Kikoys, Baby Shawls, Poly dreams, Beddings and Knitwear like acrylic yarn in ball forms, Cardigans, Sweaters; Manufacturing facility for Shoddy Processing with contemporary technology for conversion of Waste Materials and used Clothing into Valuable Woolen, Acrylic and Mixed Fibre Blankets of self-appeal and distinct charm. The organization is the country’s largest textile mill and prime manufacturer and supplier of Woolen and Acrylic Blankets to UNHCR and other world Humanitarian Aid Agencies.
