Position : Offshore Account Administrator

Excellent opportunity for an Offshore Account Administrator to join a reputable financial services business in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.

The Offshore Account Administrator will be engaged in a variety of tasks including account ownership, project management, coordination, strategic planning, technical assistance, and keeping record of all account related activities. Activities include but are not limited to opening and managing offshore trading accounts, client liaison, FX conversion, FX allocation, tax clearances and compliance.

The ideal candidate should have excellent attention to detail as the output of this role needs to be accurate and of a high standard, needs to be a responsible person and must be able to work under pressure. The client will provide adequate training where there is a skills or experience gap.

The firm is a Registered Financial Services provider and offer Category IIA financial services to its clients, providing a full range of financial solutions with their primary goal being to ensure that the client’s bespoke financial needs and requirements are fully satisfied.


The main function of this role is the opening and administration of offshore investment accounts on a major International platform. This will involve administrative duties and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in management of normal and life wrapper account structures (includes but not limited to opening accounts, loading deposits and withdrawals, stock transfers, statement queries, invoicing)
  • Technical assistance for admin related queries on accounts
  • Billing & Invoice related activities
  • Coordinate & follow-up with multiple teams including clients and service providers
  • Meet time deadlines for accounts
  • FICA requirements of new accounts
Required profile for job ad : Offshore Account Administrator
  • BCom degree or relevant market experience would be beneficial


  • Experience in stockbroking or financial services industry
  • Experience of using MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
  • Experience with Investec Corporate Cash Management accounts would be beneficial
  • Experience in the following would be advantageous: Brokerage environment, FX conversion and clearance, Compliance, Accounting.
