Position : Manager - Infrastructure Implementations

Manager: Infrastructure Implementations.

Purpose Statement

  • Responsible for the management, implementation and support of all IT related functions for Branch and Campus environments, including stores, repairs, lab, logistics, networks, implementation, technical support, ATM and vendors. 
  • Responsible for management of branch implementation and support in the branch operational regions.

Qualifications (Minimum)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Information Technology

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

  • Honours Degree in Commerce or Information Technology

Experience Minimum:

  • 10+ years’ experience within an IT environment managing IT Facilities, Networks, Projects, Technical Support, Lab and Break Fix 
  • 5+ years in the management and co-ordination of rollout projects for branch and campus infrastructure technologies
  • Proven experience in the management of a group of people in a similar environment

Knowledge Minimum:

  • Banking and Financial services industry
  • Inventory management, purchasing, repair centres and logistics
  • IT equipment and hardware systems
  • Project Management concepts and methodologies
  • People management
  • Supplier and vendor management
  • Detailed knowledge of:
  • IT Infrastructure implementation and support 


  • A sound understanding of
    • Capitec Bank’s IT environment
    • Capitec Bank’s Branch and Support environment
